Tom Fish writes on 25 December 2014

Things are going well here. I'm winding down a 2+ year renovation of Voodoo Child. I hope to get her back in the water in a month or so.  I probably forgot a few items. It's been a long project but she ought to be good for another 30 years of adventure. I've learned a lot about the LN41 along the way having dissected it from top to bottom. 1. Tom,
I just finished an almost identical refit in Spain, also taking two years. Would love to share findings and photos.

    1. Hi Donald,
Congratulations on such a beautiful restoration of Embla. The exterior is gorgeous. I'm curious, does the polished bronze have a protective coating on it? I polished some of my bronze once and within a week or two it was brown again.
All of my restoration so far has been mechanical but will soon be doing cosmetic starting with teak decking and painting the gelcoat.
I would love to hear updates of your Atlantic crossing. Are you in the Canary Islands yet?
      Tom
